Role Overview
To design and develop efficient and sustainable underfloor heating and heat pump systems for residential and commercial buildings. The role involves working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver bespoke heating solutions that meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (1 Year)
Location: Head Office, Banbridge
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–3pm
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience

What You'll Be Doing
* Design and develop underfloor heating and heat pump systems, including pipe layout planning, heat loss calculations, and full system design using CAD and simulation software.
* Select appropriate products and technologies to meet project requirements, producing detailed technical drawings, schematics, installation guides, bills of materials, and performance reports.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to support specifications, provide technical assistance during installation and commissioning, ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards, maintain accurate project documentation, and contribute to the development of standardised design tools while keeping up to date with emerging renewable heating technologies.
