Job Title Internal Account Manager Location Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire / Hybrid Reporting To Internal Sales Manager Role Overview The Internal Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing reseller and integrator accounts within the audio visual (AV) channel. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales growth, identifying new opportunities, and supporting customers with product selection, pricing, and project requirements. Working closely with external account managers, vendor partners, and internal teams, the Internal Account Manager ensures customers receive timely quotations, accurate information, and efficient order processing to support their projects and business growth. Key Responsibilities Account Management Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of reseller and integrator customers. Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer enquiries. Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their pipeline, projects, and requirements. Support customers with quotations, product recommendations, and solution guidance. Sales Development Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts. Promote vendor brands, new technologies, and product ranges within the AV portfolio. Work towards individual and team revenue and margin targets. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the product portfolio. Quoting & Order Management Prepare and deliver accurate and timely quotations. Process sales orders and ensure correct pricing, availability, and delivery requirements. Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to manage stock availability and delivery schedules. Project Support Assist customers with AV project opportunities including displays, LED, collaboration solutions, control systems, and accessories. Liaise with vendor partners to obtain technical information, special pricing, and lead times. Track project opportunities and maintain CRM records. Vendor & Internal Collaboration Work closely with vendor managers to promote key brands and campaigns. Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and customer engagement activities. Collaborate with external sales teams where applicable to support strategic accounts. Customer Service Deliver a high standard of service, ensuring quick response times and accurate information. Resolve customer queries relating to pricing, deliveries, returns, or technical information. Maintain strong customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Key Skills & Experience Essential Experience in a sales, account management, or customer service role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Commercial awareness and ability to identify sales opportunities. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Desirable Experience within the Audio Visual (AV) industry, IT distribution, or technology channel. Knowledge of AV solutions such as professional displays, video conferencing, LED, mounts, or signal distribution. Experience using CRM systems.
