Join Pegasus Group’s 2026 Graduate Training Scheme in our Edinburgh office as a Graduate Town Planner. This role offers exposure to a variety of projects for diverse clients within a supportive, mentorship‑driven environment.
About the Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you will work closely with the Planning team to deliver wide‑ranging planning consultancy services across a variety of projects and schemes. You will prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications and statements, support public consultations and site visits, and provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies. You will gain valuable experience across a range of sectors and clients to support your development.
What we are looking for
We require candidates to hold an RTPI accredited degree or a similar degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning or the Built Environment. Holders of a student or graduate visa are not eligible due to government legislation restrictions. Work‑sponsored visa holders are welcome.

* Ability to use your own initiative and think outside the box
Work experience in Town/Urban Planning is advantageous but not essential; you will learn on the job within the Graduate Training Scheme.
