Jam Coding delivers outstanding computing and coding workshops to young people in the Black Country area. We are passionate about helping children to use and explore technology in a positive and constructive way. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team delivering Computing and Coding Workshops in Hagley.
Full training will be given to the successful applicant to enable them to deliver outstanding and rewarding computing and coding workshops in a variety of formats. Specifiaclly, you must have high-energy, enthusiasm and experience in educating children in Digital subjects including Coding and Computing. Full training in specific materials will be provided but a solid computing baseline is required.

The ideal candidate should have:
* A positive attitude to helping young people succeed through teamwork, confidence building and exploration.
* A sound general knowledge of IT/Computers (Full training given)
* A love of gaming or computing would be perfect.
* A solid baseline knowledge in Computing and Coding is essential
* An excellent communicator who is well organised and punctual.
* Experience in delivering high energy workshops and lessons to children is essential
Desirable:
* A teaching qualification, childcare qualification, teaching assistant qualification, experience of teaching or training young people (or be working towards)
* A driving license and a car would be ideal for this job role.
* All candidates will need a DBS qualification to work within this job role. This can be ascertained on behalf of the successful candidate. Candidates would need to be able to drive to fulfil this role.

Hours:
The hours of work will typically be on Saturday's during term time, with extra hours available during the week and in holiday periods at our Holiday Clubs.
