Our client, a global asset management firm is looking to recruit a Sustainability Specialist to focus on climate change and environmental initiatives.
Key responsibilities
* Work closely with investment teams to effectively integrate climate, nature and other environmental themes into investment decision-making
* Engage with portfolio companies on climate and environmental issues
* Provide research and insights to help support investment decisions
* Contribute to firmwide content and strategy on environmental and climate change issues
* Represent the firm across a range of environmental/sustainability related industry bodies and initiatives
* Actively participate in client engagement
* Assist in developing investment products and strategies aligned with climate and nature objectives
Candidate requirements
* 7-10 years of work experience in ESG/sustainability investment analysis with expertise in climate change and environmental issues
* Passion for sustainable and ESG investing
* Proven experience building data models for climate integration and scenario analysis
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Collaborative approach to work
