The Child Maintenance Service (CMS) is offering exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to join us as Change Enablers. The enablement team is responsible for supporting and enabling the successful delivery of Child Maintenance modernisation programme of work and internal performance improvement changes for CMS Operations Directorate. They work closely with Operational colleagues, Business Design, Digital and Project Managers to ensure all internal implementation activities have been identified and dependencies are being managed. Youll need to be adaptable and resilient, capable of making sound decisions, and confident in driving and implementing change in a high-profile, fast-paced environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving our core mission: ensuring that children receive the financial support they deserve. Example duties may include, but are not limited to: Support the team in managing business implementation activities for the modernisation programme and performance improvement initiatives across all areas of the business Work with change leads and project managers to ensure products are available and activities identified and tracked to support business areas deliver and embed the change. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, attend discovery workshops and support development of documents required including, quality assurance and sign-off etc. Support sprint deployment activity by understanding and tracking all dependencies, escalating risks and supporting promotion of success. Situational Judgement Test The Situational Judgement Test is a timed exercise designed to see how you would naturally react in situations and how you would communicate with others. It consists of multiple-choice scenarios with options. You do not need any knowledge or experience specific to DWP to be able to complete the exercise, nor do you need any specific knowledge or experience relating to the scenario presented. Allow 30-45 to complete the test, which should be done in one sitting. After submission of the first stage of your application you will be invited to complete a Civil Service Judgement Test. If you successfully pass the test, you will be invited to complete the final stage of the application. Please complete the online tests as soon as possible (within 24-48 hours is recommended), the closing date for the tests is 23:55 on 2nd February 2026. If you fail to complete the online test before the deadline your application will be withdrawn. Guidance for the test will be available when you are invited to take the test. The tests are administered online and accessed via the CS Jobs website. As part of the application process, you will be asked to submit a CV and 1250 -word Personal Statement. Personal Statement Write an evidence-based statement demonstrating your suitability for the role, reflecting on the essential criteriaoutlined in the Job Description. Your evidence-based statement should be no longer than 1250 words. Avoid generalised claims focus instead on specific examples that highlight your achievements. For each example, explain the context, the challenges you faced, the actions you took, and the outcomes you achieved. Sift The sift panel will assess your evidence-based statement to evaluate your experience, skills, and knowledge against the essential criteria outlined in the job advert. To progress to the next stage of the application process, you must provide clear and sufficient evidence demonstrating how you meet these criteria.
