Base pay range
Salary: £27k - £32k (£40K OTE) per annum, subject to experience.

Reporting To
Head of Sales & Marketing.
Core Responsibilities
* Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
* Conduct research to identify potential clients within target industries and verticals.
* Utilise tools and channels to gather information and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
* Implement outbound prospecting strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and other creative methods.
* Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation efforts and maximimise conversion rates.
* Initiate contact with potential clients, communicate our value proposition effectively, and build rapport through compelling conversations.
* Understand client pain points, challenges, and objectives to position solutions appropriately.
* Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine fit between prospect requirements and solutions.
* Set up qualified meetings for the sales team, ensuring smooth handoff and providing comprehensive background information.
* Work closely with other departments to align on target accounts, provide timely updates on prospect interactions, and gather feedback to refine prospecting strategies.
* Accurately document all prospect interactions, activities, and information in HubSpot CRM.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product offerings; continuously enhance product knowledge and articulate the unique value proposition.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience in a sales development role, preferably in SaaS or technology‑driven environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage prospects over phone, email, and social media.
* Excellent listening and problem‑solving skills to understand prospect needs and tailor messaging.
* Self‑motivated, target‑driven, able to work independently and proactively identify opportunities.
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales prospecting tools; we use HubSpot.
* Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
* Passion for customer loyalty, employee engagement, and their positive impact on organisational culture.
