We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our growing team at PureTouch Home & Office Care. This role involves a mix of domestic and commercial cleaning across Lichfield and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building client relationships and understands the importance of reliability in a client-focused service business.
Please note: Reliability, punctuality and consistency are essential in this role. Our clients rely on us to attend as scheduled, and we expect our team to communicate clearly and plan availability in advance.
Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality cleaning in clients' homes and commercial environments such as offices and workplaces
* Clean kitchens, bathrooms, living and working areas to a high professional standard
* Work both independently and as part of a team depending on the job
* Build trust and professional relationships with regular clients
* Follow health and safety procedures
* Manage waste disposal and recycling
* Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
* Communicate effectively with clients and management
* Travel between client locations
Requirements
* Own vehicle is essential for travelling between client locations
* Proven reliability and punctuality are essential
* Ability to work alone and manage your own client schedule
* Comfortable working in office and commercial environments where clients and staff may be present, maintaining professionalism, discretion and minimal disruption
* Strong attention to detail and high standards
* Trustworthy, professional and respectful in clients' homes and workplaces
* Good communication skills in English
* Previous cleaning experience essential and training also provided
We are particularly looking for someone who has a strong track record of attendance and reliability in previous roles.

This role will offer no less than 8 hours per week, with typical working hours estimated at approximately 16–20 hours per week, depending on client requirements and availability.
Start and finish times may vary depending on client needs, and flexibility around this is important.
