Location: Remote. The role can be based in our Head Office in Ballymena or be UK based, with travel to the UK roughly once a week.

About The Role
Coaching and mentoring Intermediate/Junior QS members; lead the commercial management of projects ranging from £1m-£30m; engage, negotiate and manage sub‑contractors from tender to final account; procure materials and ensure efficient and timely scheduling; produce commercial risk and opportunity registers; review costs/specifications of alternative materials with designers; maintain accurate design material schedules; analyse received tenders and assess value for money; exercise financial control through updated cash‑flows and cost reconciliation reports; manage sub‑contractor payments; submit and agree final accounts; monitor budget vs forecast spend and raise risk items timely; submit applications for payment and interim valuations; manage change and variations; perform on‑site measurement of works; understand health and safety regulations; coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, site managers, supervisors, planners, surveyors and HSEQ officers.

Required Criteria
* BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management or a similar diploma
* Minimum 3‑5 years' experience in the above roles or in a similar setting
* Sound knowledge of general construction methods
* Strong communication, numerical and literacy skillsHigh level of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* CSR training card
* Flexibility to travel to the UK approximately once a week
* Proficient in negotiation and achieving best value from the supply chain
* High standard of organisational and time‑management skills
* Experience liaising with Tier 1 contractors in a sub‑contract capacity
* Commitment to a team approach, initiative, problem‑solving and excellent client relations
