Overview
University Hospitals Plymouth are offering a unique opportunity to work as a Clinical Research Delivery Midwife in the Synergy Team within the Research and Development Department. The position is a 12-month secondment to co-ordinate and recruit to a National Maternity study. Our staff come from a variety of specialities and backgrounds to create a multidisciplinary research team working together to deliver research across Plymouth. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment with access to training and professional development and offer a full induction programme with ongoing mentoring. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, support the delivery of research and see first-hand the difference it makes to patients\' lives.

Responsibilities
* Implement and day-to-day co-ordination of the National Maternity study.
* Contact with our women and birthing people, in person and by phone.
* Obtain informed consent and utilise the study database and other systems.
* Provide training for the clinical midwifery teams regarding the study and study processes.
* Maintain patient and staff engagement for the study to meet the monthly recruitment target.
Qualifications and requirements
* Registered midwife with clinical maternity experience.
* Experience in clinical research coordination or recruitment (desirable).
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to diversity and multidisciplinary teamwork.
