About the Position
Seasonal Scale Operator at the ADM Grain Elevator in Madestone, Ontario.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. First point of contact upon grower or carrier delivery arrival
2. Weigh and probe inbound and outbound deliveries
3. Enter information into ADM weigh as required
4. Determine grade of grain utilizing the required tools provided
5. Perform Vomitxin testing as required
6. Maintain a clean work environment
7. All other duties required
Required Skills and Qualifications
8. Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
9. Computer literacy is a bonus
10. Proactive and results oriented
11. Highly organized
12. Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
Education or Work Experience
13. High school education or equivalent
Additional Information
14. History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
15. Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
16. Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
17. Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
18. Willing to work overtime, shiftwork and weekends, if needed
19. All candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
20. Relocation support is not available for this position
