Hays are working exclusively with a successful growing business in the heart of Wolverhampton. Being leaders in their field, thispany is looking to wee an Accounts Assistant to the team following the growth of theirpany.
Your new role
1. Assisting the Management Accountant with various aspects of accounts production
2. Sales Ledger – Raising of customer invoices, postings, reconciliation of customer accounts and credit control
3. Purchase Ledger – Raising purchase orders, processing transactions on the purchase ledger (invoices, credit notes, payments), supplier statement reconciliation and collation of weekly payment runs
4. Bank reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly, and missing invoices are chased and obtained when required
5. Financial analysis and ad hoc projects working closely with the Management Accountant and Group Management Accountant, including stock control
6. To undertake general administration duties

8. Previous experience of working within a finance team in amercial environment
9. Experience of working to stringent professional, finance and quality standards, and keeping records demonstratingpliance

12. Self-motivated with the ability to work alone, remain focused and use initiative to make logical, autonomous decisions.
