Salary: £27,100 - 27,100 per year Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in a 1st line or school-based IT support role Strong communication and customer service skills Able to work independently and manage time across multiple locations Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential) Friendly, calm, and professional attitude when working with staff and students Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent professional IT qualification (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft certification) Installation and configuration of IT hardware and software Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and above Experience with Windows Server (2012 R2 and above) Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Office 365 admin experience, including Exchange Online and PowerShell Basic hardware and networking troubleshooting skills Responsibilities: Deliver on-site technical support at a primary school and rotate across a cluster of nearby schools as scheduled. Provide 1st line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Install and configure IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom AV systems. Troubleshoot common issues with Windows, Office 365, and general networking (DNS, DHCP, file permissions). Maintain school IT systems including updates, backups, and user account management via Active Directory. Assist with mobile device management, including Apple and Windows-based systems. Collaborate with AITs wider technical team to escalate complex issues when needed. Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment used, and issues resolved. Travel between sites as part of a scheduled support rota (mileage covered where applicable).
