GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Cleaner to work with schools in Northumberland, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across school premises.
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities:
* Clean classrooms, offices, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies where required.
* Follow health and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
* Report any maintenance or safety concerns to relevant staff.
* Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised school environment.
Requirements of Cleaner:
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
* Good attention to detail and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach.
* A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
