As part of our continued growth, Medivet Labs is supporting more and more customers through high‑quality diagnostic testing. This role plays a critical part in delivering reliable, high‑quality diagnostics supported by outstanding service and strong professional relationships. You will be central to ensuring that our expanding customer base continues to receive a service that is accurate, timely, and clinically meaningful.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing strategic leadership for the microbiology department, setting direction and driving continuous improvement.
* Working hands‑on with a wide range of microbiological techniques to support accurate, timely diagnostics.
* Collaborating closely with clinicians, pathologists, and laboratory teams to ensure our service meets the needs of patients and practices.
* Developing and implementing robust quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
* Leading innovation in diagnostic methods, antimicrobial stewardship, and emerging technologies.
* Supporting and mentoring colleagues, fostering a culture of scientific curiosity, teamwork, and professional growth.
What you’ll bring:
