We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to support the Business Support Team within the Children, Young People and Families Service (CYPF).
In order to undertake this role, it’s essential that you have the following:
* GCSE’s A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths
* NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or experience in business support
* A willingness to undertake appropriate learning and development as required
The ideal candidate will also have the following essential/desirable skills/qualifications/knowledge:
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
* Experience of working in a clerical or administrative environment.
* Experience of organising meetings and of producing the resulting notes, actions points, minutes and reports.
* Literacy skills required including spelling, grammar and punctuation for dealing with letters, documents.
* Experience of working in a team.
* Time management skills to prioritise work appropriately, be punctual and meet deadlines in order to deliver a good service.
* Accuracy with a high level of attention to detail
In your role as a CYPF Support Officer you will be engaging with a variety of people on a daily basis; from members of the public to Social Workers and Service managers, as well as other professionals from other agencies. This particular role will be supporting various Panels within the service to create agenda’s, take minutes an update spreadsheets and case management system. It will also involve some reception duties across two office sites and you will also be required to provide cover for other administrative roles within the team.
