We are working with a super provider of care for the elderly in the Midlands that is family owned and run and puts care and quality of care at the heart of everything they do.
I am seeking a commercial Home Manager to drive occupancy and develop relationships in the community. You will have the opportunity to develop and manage this superb GOOD CQC rated medium-sized residential and dementia care home.
The home is purpose-built and has an excellent reputation locally.
You will be supported by a stable team including a deputy manager and a team of committed carers.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional care, developing and leading a dedicated team, and ensuring the home maintains and builds on its superb local reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day running.
2. Champion the highest standards of care, ensuring residents live in a safe, stimulating, and dignified environment.
3. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality frameworks, maintaining the home’s Good care standards.
4. Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families, providing reassurance and clear communication.
5. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while delivering exceptional care services.
6. Develop strong ties with local healthcare professionals, community groups, and other stakeholders to enhance the home’s reputation and presence.
Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Home Manager in a dementia or elderly care setting.
2. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent).
3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a cohesive team.
4. In-depth knowledge of dementia care, CQC regulations, and best practices in elderly care.
5. A compassionate, resident-focused approach, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of those living with dementia.
6. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
