We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Honeywell SPS HGAS team in Dorset.
The main purpose of this role is for a Manufacturing Technician capable of assembling, wiring, configuring, and testing both standard and bespoke gas detection systems. You will work closely with the design engineering team and problem solve where required.
**Skills Required:**
* Electrical/Mechanical assembly experience, minimum of 5 years or 10 years if no vocational qualifications
* Experience working with electrical/pneumatic systems
* Cabinet systems integration
* Ability to test equipment
* Knowledge of industry, regulatory, and safety standards for cabinet systems integration
* Wireman skills
* Cabinet assembly skills
* General fitter skills
* Use of power tools
**Education Required:**
* GCSEs or equivalent
* National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 (beneficial)
**Responsibilities:**
* Work with the production team on control system cabinet assembly, including gas detection and network server cabinets
* Assist with testing of completed systems
* Ensure customer satisfaction with the quality and workmanship of the finished system
