Well-regarded offshore law firm in Jersey is seeking to recruit a Private Wealth and Trusts Disputes Solicitor/Barrister of between 1 and 6 years’ PQE/Call. The team has a strong reputation for the work it does in complex international trust and private wealth litigation matters and clients include: • leading financial institutions • non-institutional clients • high net-worth individuals The successful candidate will play a key role in advising and representing clients in connection with a wide range of private wealth and trust disputes, being integral in continuing to help build this successful practice. Key responsibilities include: • advising and representing clients in connection with a wide range of international private wealth and trusts disputes, assisting in the preparation and management of complex litigation cases from initial instructions through to substantive hearings; • supporting and participating in the successful growth of the firm's Private Client and Trusts Team and deliver a consistently high level of service to the firm’s clients; • drafting complex documents, including advice, correspondence, evidence and pleadings with accuracy and appropriate content; • supporting Senior Associates and Partners in the management and training of Trainees/Paralegals; • building and maintaining relationships with clients and intermediaries, to help retain and attract more work into the business. To be considered for this role you will: • be a qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland or other commonwealth jurisdiction. It goes without saying that applications from Jersey-qualified lawyers will also be welcome • be an enthusiastic, resourceful and dedicated team player with knowledge and experience of private wealth disputes and/or commercial litigation.
