We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of meals, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
* Support the catering team during events by preparing food items and setting up serving areas.
* Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow.
* Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Skills
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£14.02 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
