SEN Support Staff Coventry SEN College Start Date : After February Half Term 2026 temp to perm Contract Type : Full Time, temp to perm Pay : £ 102.75 per day depending on experience 830am-430pm (PAYE no umbrella deductions) About the role : justteachers is seeking a caring and committed SEN Support Staff member to work within a specialist SEN College in Coventry, supporting Post 16 students with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex needs. This is a full-time role starting after the February half term. You will work closely with lecturers and the wider support team to provide tailored academic, vocational, and pastoral support. The role will involve supporting students in classroom-based learning, life skills sessions, and vocational activities, helping to prepare them for greater independence and adulthood. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and confident supporting young people with varying needs. Key Requirements: Support students in small group and 1:1 settings with learning, life skills, and personal development. Assist lecturers in delivering differentiated learning and vocational activities. Promote independence, employability skills, and social development. Support students with personal care where required. Proven experience working with young people in an educational or relevant setting (that can be referenced) A minimum of two references covering the past two years, including your most recent employer (education-based references preferred).
