About the Role
MARCH Engineering is hiring a Senior Tax Manager to oversee tax reporting, ensure compliance with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) obligations, and optimise tax efficiencies across the group. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional with industry experience who can standardise processes, manage risks, and add value through partnership with the CFO and leadership to a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Standardise tax reporting across the group
Ensure compliance with corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and CIS
Support tax integration for M&A activity
Manage transfer pricing, tax strategy reporting, and group tax structure reviews
Oversee R&D tax claims and identify tax incentive opportunities
Manage US tax filing requirements
What You Bring
ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification
Industry experience in engineering, construction, or facilities preferred
Strong understanding of R&D claims, CIS, and VAT domestic reverse charge
Ability to implement group-wide tax processes and change management
Excellent Excel and stakeholder management skills
