About the role Based at the Civic Centre in Keynsham with occasional working at other locations and flexible home working by agreement, you will work primarily with either the Housing Standards team or the Housing Options team. You may also on occasions work with other teams across the service. We aim for high standards of customer service and are seeking a highly motivated individuals to join us to be responsible for providing general administrative support within Housing Services. This is a full-time, permanent contract working 37 hours a week. Your responsibilities will include: Provide general administrative support including responding to enquiries by telephone or email. Arrange and co-ordinate meetings, book appointments, attend meetings to take notes and arrange for their distribution. Use of information management and other systems to record and retrieve service information process of purchase orders and invoices assisting housing options with customer calls and accommodation placements. assisting with housing standards enforcement Assisting with debt recovery and making inspection appointments with property owners/managers. About You Applicants will need to show that they meet the requirements of the role specific criteria which include: GCSE level qualification, or equivalent, or relevant experience Excellent IT and keyboard skills. Accurate data inputting skills and the ability to use web-based tools. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to cope under pressure as the post holder may encounter customers who are stressed and/or upset. The ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative with limited direct supervision, prioritising tasks and the management of workloads effectively.
