As HVAC & Refrigeration Design Engineer, you will get to work across the design and development of refrigeration systems. We are currently recruiting for a HVAC & Refrigeration Design Engineer to join a growing, engineering SME. The company specializes in low batch projects that are supplied into specialist sectors. As Design Engineer, you will have the chance to work on a range of projects across design, development, and quality. This is a brand new role created through project growth. Salary & Hours: c£45,000 as a guide. Days based role 8:00am to 4:30pm Mon Thurs, and 8:00am 1:00pm finish on a Friday. Overtime paid at x1.5 on any hours after basic 37 hours per week. This HVAC Design Engineer job will suit: Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and thermodynamics Experience in the design of HVAC&R or thermofluid systems Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flowprinciples Experience in product development or system design Experience in designing systems in accordance with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Practically minded, happy to run tests and retain some hands on engineering elements.
