What You’ll Be Doing
* Own Engineering Training & Compliance: Ensure all statutory and legal certifications (e.g., PUWER, Control of Contractors) are met, enabling safe and efficient operations.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Design and deliver engaging learning pathways for Apprentices and ATMs, fostering technical mastery and nurturing future leaders.
* Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with teams to assess technical competency, facilitate sign-offs, and support integrated succession planning through a robust Engineering Skills Matrix.
* Manage Training Investment: Influence the direction of training investment and manage the site’s engineering training budget effectively.
* Embed a Culture of Learning: Contribute to the Engineering & Training (E&T) and IM Pillars by identifying skill gaps for future technologies and creating in-house subject matter experts.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
* A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, with solid practical experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment.
* Proven experience in developing others’ technical skills, whether through formal training, mentoring, or on-the-job development.
* A strong understanding of building capability within teams, focusing on long-term succession planning and growing future talent.
* A health and safety mindset, with a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification being a plus—but if not, we’re happy to support you in gaining one.
* A genuine interest in learning and development, with the willingness to complete a training qualification if not already held.
