Velox Social Care Support Worker Job Description
Velox Social Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers across Poole and the wider Dorset area to deliver quality, person-centred care to children and young people (CYP) requiring structured support. We aim to find passionate, committed individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in children's lives and support them to reach their potential.
Responsibilities include supporting young people to progress positively through encouragement, understanding, care, and patience. You will also be responsible for recording daily logs and liaising with colleagues, our Care Management Team, and external agencies.
Shift Options and Candidate Preferences
We offer flexible shift options and are eager to speak with candidates available for day/night shifts and ongoing block bookings.
Minimum Requirements
* Right to Work in the UK
* At least 6 months UK experience in a similar CYP setting
* In-date PMVA or Team Teach certification (willing to undertake training if PMVA-trained)
* Enhanced Child DBS with subscription to the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Relevant Qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care)
