About the Role
The firm are seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join their expanding team. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients, provide strategic financial guidance, and oversee the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax services. You’ll also play an active role in developing junior team members and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Review corporation tax computations and returns.
* Complete and review VAT returns (monthly and quarterly) across various VAT schemes.
* Review management accounts and ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Assist with the onboarding and management of new client relationships.
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs, resolve technical queries, and provide practical solutions.
* Mentor and support junior team members, assisting with workflow management and professional development.
* Contribute to ad hoc assignments and firm-wide projects as required.
* Deliver an exceptional level of client service and maintain strong professional relationships.
