About the role

Level 6 CIEG Qualified School & College Careers Adviser (Brentford) - onsite delivery only.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Career Adviser to join our team for three days per week from September 2025. In this role, you will:

1. Provide high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students.
2. Support the Careers Lead in achieving and maintaining the Gatsby Benchmarks.
3. Ensure CEIAG Google Classrooms are regularly updated with current Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant resources.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' futures in a supportive school environment.

Role Type: This is a term-time only role, 3 days a week (7.4 hours per day) starting from September 2025.

You will have:

* Level 6 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG).
* Experience of working with young people, preferably in a school or college setting.
* Thorough knowledge of education, employment, training, and personal development opportunities available for young people/labour market information.
* Ability to provide careers advice and guidance in one-to-one settings or group workshops/assemblies to support students with their career aspirations.
* Experience in arranging career talks and a range of activities for students.
* Ability to engage with and inspire young people with SEND and disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as with their parents/carers.
* Support the Schools or College Careers Leader to implement and enhance the school's programme to meet Gatsby Benchmarks.
* Demonstrate professional commitment to children's rights, equal opportunities, and diversity.
* Undertake administration duties to ensure all delivery evidence is complete and compliant with contract and quality standards.
* Experience working with vulnerable groups and those with SEND.

Our Careers Advisers are expected to work flexibly and independently but will be supported as part of the wider team. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
