The Role – What will I be doing? Reporting to the Digital Development Manager, the Digital Business Analyst role will support the strategic development of corporate Business Systems and the identification and implementation of appropriate Digital Solutions across the Company. Some of the key areas of focus for the role include: Process design and re-engineering – working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to help define processes at all levels, analysing current processes to identify improvements and providing recommendations. Requirements gathering and analysis – collaborating with stakeholders to identify and define business needs, using gap analysis to assist in defining the business and technical requirements. Discovery and assessment of solutions – identifying potential solutions which fit with defined business and technical requirements Assisting in the implementation of solutions – being the liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure solutions are implemented on time, to a high standard and meet the requirements. Data analysis and reporting – working with internal stakeholders to identify key data requirements and supporting the build of dashboards and reports Project support – assist in the coordination and execution of internal projects, facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, especially when defining new solutions. What skills and qualifications do I need? You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in a related field. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, together with knowledge of industry standard business analysis practices. Excellent computer literacy with previous experience of implementing digital solutions to improve business efficiency. Experience in data analysis as well as providing high quality information to stakeholders at all levels is a must, therefore excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are needed. Building relationships at all levels is key for this role so excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders is essential.
