During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026.RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Opportunity to work within different accounting areas depending on business requirements.Liaising with other Cummins entities and other functions across the plant to effectively resolve queries.Responsible for customer invoicing, ensuring invoices are accurate, raised timely and compliant with business controls.Ownership of certain month end journals, reconciliations and processesResponsible for ensuring suppliers are paid on time by resolving invoice discrepancies, answering queries, and reconciling statements.Opportunity to manage projects within the finance function and implement improvement initiatives.Collaborative work with students across the site to complete cross functional community engagement projects.QUALIFICATIONSTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subjectExcellent IT Skills, in particular Excel and MicrosoftA willingness to challenge the norm and constantly look for improvements.Competent in using collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.Working at CumminsAt Cummins, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
