As an administrator, being organised and keeping the general office function running smoothly will be second nature; files will be in the right place and kept confidential, post will be cascaded, phones will be answered in a friendly and helpful way, and spreadsheets will be up to date and logical.
Working alongside senior staff members, you will manage staff absences and leave requests, maintain personnel files, and produce audits.
Working 37.5 hours a week, you will also be involved in some Finance tasks including managing Patient Monies and Petty Cash, raising purchase orders, receipting in some goods and services and approval of invoices using systems such as Sage and Sicon.
You’ll be working in a specialist Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS), supporting adults with complex needs who benefit from a more tailored, long-term recovery approach beyond standard care settings.

As a Workforce and Finance Administrator you will be:
* Carrying out administrative tasks as required including minute taking, photocopying, scanning, and archiving.
* Ad hoc Admin tasks as required to support the service.
* Collecting of starter paperwork from new starters and inputting and setting up on all relevant systems and spreadsheets
* Maintaining changes on the Electronic Absence System. Copy, record and send Fit Notes to payroll and relevant parties as necessary
* Maintaining all updates and changes, starters and leavers on the Unit 4 system
* Maintaining the Immigration Spreadsheet, dealing with any immigration paperwork/checks as necessary. Process monthly DBS renewals checks for existing staff and ensure RTW and professional registration databases are maintained
* Completing and responding to third party information requests/references
* Maintaining and creating hard and electronic personnel files including filing information to CQC standards
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Secretarial and/or HR Administration experience
* ECDL, RSA II, Typing/Word Processing or equivalent
* 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
* Experience of minute taking and strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of working with systems to support HR and Finance Departments.
* Awareness and knowledge in following confidentiality and security

Barnet Lane’s Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS) is a highly specialised, bespoke inpatient adult service designed to support individuals whose needs exceed the scope of traditional inpatient service models. The service specialises in treating patients who have experienced multiple or prolonged admissions, stalled discharge pathways, or who have been unable to progress within conventional care environments.
