New Business Development Pathway to Director Level

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 per year + commission
Holidays: 22 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
Hours: 9am 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Position

This is a rare, long-term opportunity for a young an ambitious, driven individual who wants to build a career in sales, print and business leadership. Youll join a supportive environment with structured training in print processes, estimating and account management and a clear, evidence-based route to field sales, management, and ultimately directorship and equity. If youre willing to work hard, learn quickly and grow with the business, the financial and career upside is substantial.

What youll do

* Generate new business through cold-calling, emailing, social media outreach and face-to-face networking.
* Manage and grow client relationships to secure repeat orders and new opportunities.
* Learn our print processes and estimating so you can produce accurate, competitive quotes.
* Support the companys social media and marketing activity to raise brand awareness.
* After initial training (typically 12 months), transition into field sales with client visits across the region.
* Work closely with the MD on growth initiatives, developing the commercial skills needed for future management and equity ownership.

Who were looking for

* A motivated, outgoing individual with a strong sales mindset and excellent customer-focus.
* Proven resilience and tenacity youre comfortable with cold calling outreach and follow-up.
* Prior experience in business development & cold-calling is an advantage
* Print industry experience is useful but not essential we provide full training.
* Good IT skills and confidence using CRM and digital platforms.
* A team player with a positive attitude and a real desire to progress.
* Full driving licence required after the first year to support field sales.
