Due to growth in our operations, we are looking for a Commercial Specialist to join the Field & On-Site Services (FOS) Commercial Operations Team. The role involves supporting our programme to reduce costs and standardise charging approaches.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your main responsibilities will include ownership and governance of INVEST processes, shared services structure, cross-charging accuracy, and utilization reporting. You will also assist with financial performance analysis, forecasting, and governance related to change and cross-charging.
Our scope covers global FOS Operations, with a flexible hybrid working policy requiring at least 40% in-office presence fortnightly, aligned to your chosen office location.
What you’ll do
* Support the Commercial Operations across FLS, focusing on the FOS Cost Collector structure and processes (Invest, Shared, Dedicated).
* Ensure accurate customer contract and charging processes in line with policies.
* Manage CTS x-charging changes and monthly processes.
* Advise operations on commercial matters.
* Assist in improving cost-to-serve through system and process enhancements.
* Support financial planning, review, and forecasting activities.
* Contribute to the FOS change programme and growth strategies, including x-charging policies.
* Help harmonize and simplify x-charging mechanisms.
* Develop reporting tools to monitor and improve performance.
Collaborate with GCF, Service Excellence, GSBO, Delivery Leadership, and other teams.
* Oversee monthly x-charging activities.
* Identify and implement changes from in-life modifications.
* Coordinate with GCF on month-end reporting and forecasts.
* Highlight risks and opportunities within FOS.
What you’ll need
* Willingness to learn FOS operations and financial processes.
* Understanding of CC financial processes.
* Good communication skills in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
* Ideally, some familiarity with FOS Operations and services portfolio.
* Understanding of outsourcing principles and deal lifecycle frameworks is advantageous.
* Basic accounting knowledge.
* Ability to build relationships across teams and functions.
* Focus on supporting margin improvement by reducing costs.
