About The Role

As an Operational Support Technician you will support operational delivery of the Safety and Communications business, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to our customers using your experience to help our customers with on-site issues, diagnosing and guiding them through procedures and fault diagnosis of the Safety and Communication equipment.
Key responsibilities;
1. Issuing safety and communication equipment and materials to the clients onsite.
2. Facilitation and hosting of the safety and communication equipment and materials onsite.
3. Ensuring the safe use of all the equipment.
4. Undertake calibration of the equipment.
5. Diagnose and fix equipment where needed.
6. Adhering to and promoting Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards.
7. Maintaining effective relationships with all members of the Operation team.
8. To raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude.
9. To ensure that all reporting, administration is completed / maintained in line with Company standard.
10. Achieving all key performance indicators in a fast changing and busy environment.
11. Maintaining Company standards whilst working under pressure, ensuring we are always acting safely.
12. Responsible for promoting all of SBR services and benefits to our clients and ensuring additional revenue wherever possible.
13. Working with operations to resolve customer issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned.
14. Conducts audit and compliance.
15. Adhere to and promote all health and safety compliance standards and ensure all employees do the same to generate a safe working environment.
16. Works as part of a mobile team unit, as well as the onsite teams.
17. Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Management Team.
18. Maybe required to work weekends and working away from home

The Ideal candidate will have the following;
19. Proven experience in a Technical Support or Technician, preferably handling service and repair enquiries however training will be provided.
20. Having previous experience of Safety and Communication is desirable.
21. Technical expertise is desirable.
22. Strong commitment to delivering high standards.
23. Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge, eager to understand our product range and the wider Sunbelt business
24. Exceptional communication skills, you’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers
25. An inquisitive mind, you'll enjoy analysing and problem solving - thinking quickly to provide immediate solutions to complex customer on-site service issues
