With expansion plans in motion and a diverse client base spanning fashion, cosmetics, and consumer goods, we are building the team and processes to scale into a market-leading operation.
The Role
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Operations Manager with a strong fulfilment background to take charge of our UK operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has proven operational expertise, and the drive to build a high-performing team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the fulfilment warehouse, ensuring that staff, processes, and systems are working together efficiently.
Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, you will also work closely with our retained logistics consultant during the initial period as we embed new processes, SOPs, and systems. This is a rare opportunity to put your stamp on an operation that is part of a multinational organisation while enjoying the autonomy of a growing UK division.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the fulfilment operation (currently c.10 staff, with plans to expand)
* Oversee day-to-day performance across multiple warehouse "zones"
* Allocate staff, manage shifts, and drive accountability across the team
* Implement and enforce SOPs and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency
* Manage and report on KPIs and SLAs
* Ensure the effective use of WMS platforms (Mintsoft and other bespoke systems)
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice in fulfilment operations
* Maintain exemplary levels of organisation, tidiness, and health & safety compliance across the warehouse, ensuring a professional, efficient, and safe working environment at all times
* Work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver growth plans
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fulfilment operations and experience managing teams within a busy warehouse environment. You will bring:
* Significant experience within a fulfilment/3PL environment
* Strong leadership and man-management skills – able to get the best out of people
* Hands-on experience implementing processes, SOPs, and systems
* Solid knowledge of WMS platforms (Mintsoft highly desireable)
* Strong IT skills, including a good standard of Excel
* Ability to manage KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations
* A stable work history that shows progression and achievement
* Drive, passion, and the ability to inspire and lead from the front
* A Desire to create well shaped fulfilment house backed by previous experiences
