Job Description
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a UK & Ireland Commercial Capability Lead located in Leeds, UK. The role involves managing other managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback. The employee will assist in driving pricing & contracting/tendering strategy throughout the sales lifecycle, contributing to business growth opportunities by improving processes and implementing continuous improvement and automation programs.
Following the separation of the Orthopaedics business into DePuy Synthes, this position will become an employee of DePuy Synthes, governed by its employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes will be provided at an appropriate time.
Responsibilities
* Manages other managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment.
* Accountable for career development conversations, coaching, and feedback.
* Communicates the direction of sales strategies throughout the sales lifecycle.
* Creates, maintains, and grows pricing and contracting/tendering strategy.
* Coordinates implementation of end-to-end pricing and contracting/tender operational excellence.
* Improves pricing and contracting/tendering processes and strategic opportunities.
* Generates performance metrics and disseminates information to promote a favorable view of the organization and its products and services.
* Maintains extensive knowledge of DePuy Synthes portfolio and industry best practices.
* Establishes country/cluster pricing strategy including floor price frameworks and compliance governance.
* Designs and implements price & contracting/tendering vision and strategy.
* Participates in design of strategic sales plans derived from corporate goals and customer touchpoints.
* Develops key performance indicators to measure performance and benchmark against competitors.
* Builds relationships with leaders and stakeholders to understand consumer priorities, identify capability gaps, conduct needs assessments, and translate into solutions.
* Manages budget, performance, compliance, workforce and succession plans.
* Creates purpose-driven environment aligned with Credo and Leadership Imperatives.
