Role Description
Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker
Location: Filton, Bristol
£13.53 per hour (£26,383.50 pro-rata) plus benefits. Additional £50 per sleep-in shift.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, on a shift rota basis. You will also be on the on-call rota.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot offer skilled worker visas.
Who will you be supporting
At South Gloucestershire Support Service in Filton, we support eight adults with diverse abilities, including visual impairments, autism, and learning disabilities.
Our home is energetic and enthusiastic! The people we support are active and enjoy outings like discos, pubs, shopping trips, and family time.
We have a passion for creativity and the arts, including music, art, visits to theatres, craft workshops, concerts, and choirs.

About You
We seek a calm, patient, resilient Senior Support Worker who can support individuals in engaging in their interests.
You should be a strong team player, professional, and capable of supervising staff performance, following social care legislation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high-quality care.
You should hold a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with a willingness to undertake Level 3.
Work in line with SeeAbility’s values.
Availability for 37.5 hours a week, including weekends.
