Position Summary
The Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse will support a dedicated, client‑focused team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, and Practice Care Assistants. The role entails daily operational support, leading the team, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily operations and ensure seamless clinic workflow
* Lead and mentor a team of RVNs, SVNs, and PCAs
* Inspire team members to achieve their career goals and maintain high standards of patient care
* Coordinate scheduling and rota management, including weekend and bank holiday rota duties
* Support clinical and non‑clinical staff to achieve practice efficiency
Working Hours and Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week (8.30 am–6.30 pm) across four days. No nights or out‑of‑hours. Weekends on a rota basis and one bank holiday per year.
Benefits
Up to £37,000 FTE, depending on experience. Other benefits, if applicable, include RCVS fees paid in full, CPD allowance, and additional incentives as detailed by the practice.
