Are you passionate, detail orientated and experienced? Retrofit Assessor to join our friendly and knowledgeable team of retrofit professionals with our rapidly expanding Asset Management Department - an ideal place to develop your skills and experience and share your own expertise. You will play a key role in delivering Paradigm's decarbonisation targets across some 17,000 properties making our residents homes energy efficient and cheaper to run. You will work under a highly experienced retrofit manager who is an industry auditor and qualified across all domestic strands. The work is interesting and varied and technical support and ongoing training are actively encouraged to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our customers.
You will:
Conduct detailed and comprehensive retrofit assessments on our varied property portfolio in accordance with PAS 2035:2023 standard
Conduct accurate EPC inspections for capital funded projects, voids and mutual exchanges
Complete borescope and invasive surveys where required
Identify opportunities for retrofit
Analyse and recommend potential retrofit measures with evaluation of SAP point impacts to ensure the measures we recommend reach the desired outcome.
Liaise with internal/external teams to support project delivery
Be able to meet deadlines under pressure and be able to advocate for our residents
You must be able to accurately input data, complete relevant paperwork and maintain office systems in a timely manner
Candidate Requirements:
Domestic Energy and Retrofit Assessor Qualifications
Ideally 5 years+ active surveying experience in energy efficiency
Qualified in Older and Traditional Buildings ( OR prepared to qualify)
Elmhurst Energy and ECMK accredited ( OR prepared to accredit)
Your own tablet to access ECMK PAS software for assessment
Full UK Driving licence and own transport (mileage is paid in line with Company policy)
Experience in the social housing sector is preferred
Familiarity with UK funding schemes for energy efficiency
Additional qualifications within the domestic retrofit sector are advantageous
Excellent problem solving, organisational and communication skills are essential
A team player with a collaborative approach

Work pattern: Mon-Fri 37 hrs p/w: 9-5.30pm Mon-Thurs, 9-5pm Fri with some flexibility.
