Role:
Our client, a leading Defence company, is seeking a Human Factors Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis. As a Human Factors Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the design and development of complex defence systems are optimised for human performance, usability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Human Factors analyses and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend solutions
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate Human Factors principles into the design process
Developing user interface requirements and conducting usability evaluations
Contributing to the development of Human Factors engineering standards and guidelines
Participating in the planning and execution of Human Factors test activities
Providing guidance and support to engineers and designers on Human Factors best practices
Monitoring the implementation of Human Factors recommendations and facilitating continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in Human Factors engineering within the Defence industry is preferred
Strong understanding of Human Factors principles and methodologies
Knowledge of relevant Human Factors standards and regulations
Ability to conduct Human Factors analyses and develop risk mitigation strategies
Proficiency in using Human Factors tools and software
