Business Studies Teacher – Newport
Temporary Contract via Teaching Personnel | September Start
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Newport to recruit a passionate and motivated Business Studies Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is a temporary position initially running until Christmas, with the potential for extension through to the end of the academic year (July 2026), depending on performance and departmental needs.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5
* Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum
* Support pupils in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE and A-Level
* Contribute positively to the school’s inclusive and supportive ethos

Candidate Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven experience delivering Business Studies at secondary level
* Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
* A commitment to student progress and academic excellence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
