Role Overview This position focuses exclusively on Council Tax administration rather than benefits processing. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring that Council Tax is billed and collected accurately, and that any reductions or entitlements are applied correctly and on time. The Council manages approximately £150 million in annual Council Tax liabilities and distributes around £300 million in Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction. The role supports the Council’s commitment to delivering a seamless, customer-centred service, ensuring residents receive clear, efficient, and accessible support while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements
