We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Joiner to join a local authority’s repairs and maintenance team based in Bury. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties. We’re looking for a Joiner experienced in repairs and maintenance on domestic properties. You will be covering responsive repairs and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience. Duties Include: Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to specifications Installing doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, and staircases Constructing and fitting bespoke furniture, cabinets, and fixtures Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and building standards This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £22.20 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £19.05 inclusive of holiday). You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime.
