Role Overview: We are seeking experienced structural steel fabricators to join our client’s team. Candidates with a proven track record in steel fabrication are preferred. However, we also welcome applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Structural Steel Fabricator Responsibilities:
1. Fabricate and assemble structural steel components according to specifications
2. Read and interpret technical drawings
3. Operate machinery and tools safely
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
Work Schedule:
5. Monday to Thursday (4-day week)
6. Hours: 07:00 to 17:30 (with a paid 15-minute tea break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
7. Finish at 16:30 on Thursdays
Compensation:
8. Hourly Rate: £15.50 (fully skilled fabricators)
9. Annual Bonus (subject to company performance)
10. Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays (paid at time and a half)
Qualifications:
11. Proven experience in structural steel fabrication (preferred)
12. Positive attitude and strong work ethic
13. Local candidates preferred
