Registered Manager (CQC) - Domiciliary Care
Location: Manchester
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)
An excellent Domiciliary Care Provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join their award-winning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to shape services, drive growth, and ensure service users' highest quality of care.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the supported living service, leading a dedicated team of Service Managers, Team Leaders, Deputy Team Leaders, and Care Support Workers. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure services are safe, compliant, person-centred, and continuously developing.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Ensuring delivery of person-centred, high-quality care that promotes independence and dignity.
* Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and the Health & Social Care Act 2008.
* Overseeing recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisals to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
* Managing performance, audits, safeguarding, and health & safety across the service.
* Growing and developing the service by maximising referrals, identifying new opportunities, and meeting performance targets.
* Ensuring effective communication with commissioners, service users, families, and external partners.
* Contributing to organisational projects, marketing campaigns, and community engagement.
What We're Looking For
Essential experience & skills:
* At least 2 years in a management/supervisory role within Health & Social Care.
* Experience managing a domiciliary care or supported living service.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and compliance standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to motivate teams, handle crises, and manage growth.
Qualifications & requirements:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
* Full UK driving licence & access to own vehicle.
* Agreement to register with CQC as the Registered Manager.
* IT literacy and ability to produce reports to management and regulatory bodies.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in an on-call rota.
