About The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in real-world health research. Join the new £3M BHF Leicester Centre of Research Excellence as a Research Assistant within our Populations Theme, exploring how cardiovascular disease and multiple long-term conditions intersect—especially across diverse ethnic groups.
Hosted by the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit, you’ll work with large-scale electronic health record data to:
* Draft study protocols and conduct feasibility assessments
* Clean and analyse data using statistical methods
* Contribute to impactful publications and policy-relevant research
You’ll be supported by experienced researchers and gain exposure to cutting-edge epidemiological studies that aim to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities. We strongly encourage applications from underrepresented groups in health research.
