Information about the role:
We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual for the role of Detective Sergeant in the OIMU, based predominantly at Greater Manchester Police HQ. As an OIMU DS, you will manage a small team of officers and staff responsible for covert investigations of priority operations. Your team will proactively gather, assess, and develop intelligence to support the objectives of a CT Senior Investigating Officer (CTSIO). You will build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and UK intelligence community partners. Candidates should possess an investigative mindset, understanding of intelligence handling, and the ability to assess threat and risk. Effective communication, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential.
