HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full time, permanentCLOSING DATE: 09/03/26 We reserve the right to close the advert earlier If we receive a high volume of applications.We’re looking for a Direct Bank Product Manager who will play a key role in shaping, developing and delivering the savings product strategy and proposition for our Direct Banking division.In this role, during pre and post go live phases you will be responsible for the research, design, development and implementation of the product strategy, as well as the ongoing monitoring of product performance. You will ensure that all products meet customer needs while fully adhering to regulatory requirements and expectations. What you’ll be doing: Support the development and delivery of the product strategy to achieve business objectives and ensure strong Consumer Duty outcomes.Contribute to strategic planning and the long‑term product roadmap for savings deposit products, including prioritisation and management to ensure smooth, timely delivery that meets customer needs and commercial targets.Prepare business cases for new product launches and pricing changes, ensuring the deposit portfolio aligns with funding requirements and commercial goals.Actively support the creation, enhancement and implementation of new deposit products and propositions within the savings bank.Partner with wider organisational reporting teams to design, develop and monitor analytics, performing quantitative analysis to support effective portfolio management and inform product decisions.Support the Head of Direct Bank Product & Strategy in maintaining ongoing product compliance and ensuring Consumer Duty Fair Value Assessments are completed for all products.Identify and support the delivery of opportunities to drive innovation within the product portfolio, adding features that deliver meaningful value to customers. Essential experience & skillsA solid understanding of the retail banking and/or financial services sectors, including products, distribution channels and the end‑to‑end customer journey.Significant experience operating within a digital and commercially driven environment.Proven experience in product innovation and/or product development within banking/financial services.Experience working within the UK savings market (desirable).Strong customer insight skills, using collaboration and a range of research techniques to optimise the customer experience end‑to‑end.A good understanding of the regulatory framework governing retail deposits and the UK savings market.A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering change through both internal teams and external partners.Strong communication skills with an ability to present complex data in a clear manor to a wide range of stakeholdersWhat’s in it for you?Bonus: Discretionary 10% on-target bonus (based on personal and Group company performance) Pension: Employer pension contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%).
