Working as part of a small, skilled team, your role will focus primarily on building services electrical work, while also supporting mechanical, plumbing and wider facilities tasks across site.

As Electrical Maintenance Technician you’ll be:
Delivering planned preventative maintenance across electrical and building services systems
Undertaking reactive fault finding and first-line repairs on site services and equipment
Supporting minor improvement works and facilities upgrades
Monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy
Managing building management systems and helpdesk processes
Occasional travel to the Orpington site and local retail sites will be required, so a clean driving licence is essential.
To succeed as Electrical Maintenance Technician you’ll bring:
Recognised electrical apprenticeship and City & Guilds Level 3 (18th Edition or equivalent)
Experience within a commercial or industrial maintenance environment
Strong fault finding ability
Experience supervising specialist contractors
Willingness to participate in an on call rota and work at height
Basic IT confidence for helpdesk and reporting systems
Experience within healthcare, BMS systems or cross discipline working is advantageous but not essential.
