This role involves working on various electrical installations, testing, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and regulations to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Management of company certification.
Requirements
* Proven experience in an Electrician role.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work.
* A valid driver's licence.
* Apprenticeship served.
* City and Guilds 2391 in Inspection and Testing.
* JIB Card would be preferable.
